What are your hours?

Treatment hours are Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 7:00pm

How long is each appointment?

Your first appointment which includes your initial evaluation will last about 45 minutes. Subsequent visits are approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

Do you accept my insurance?

Please see our insurance page for a complete listing of the carriers with which we participate.

How much does a visit cost?

The cost for each visit is dependant on what type of treatment you receive. Because treatments will vary from session to session it is difficult to say how much each visit will cost. Please contact our office for further explanation.

What type of treatment will I receive?

All physical therapy treatments are carefully tailored to the individual needs of each patient. The specific treatments to be performed will be determined by the treating physical therapist at the time of your initial evaluation and will be modified appropriately as your condition progresses.

Do I need to see a doctor before coming for physical therapy??

No. New Jersey is a direct access state – meaning that patients can access physical therapists directly, without seeing a physician first. We can treat you for a period of thirty days, after which you will need to be seen by a physician. If further treatment is required you will need to obtain a prescription from your physician.

How long is a prescription good for?

Prescriptions are written at the discretion of a physician, and will differ in frequency and duration. Our office will try to assist you in keeping track of visits and time frames. Obtaining a prescription for physical therapy is ultimately your responsibility. Please check with our front desk for a detailed listing of your appointments. Please note, under New Jersey State Law; physical therapy prescriptions must be used within two weeks of the prescription date. Notify your physician if you are unable to begin treatment immediately.

Are your therapists licensed?

Yes. All of our therapists are licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey, by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners.

Do you use physical therapy aids or assistants?

No. We believe in providing the highest quality physical therapy care and therefore all treatment is performed by a licensed physical therapist.

Will I have a different therapist each time?

No. The therapist who performs your initial evaluation will stay with you through the entire course of your treatment. We believe that this ensures continuity of care, as well as a greater knowledge of the patient’s condition. If a scheduling conflict does occur, we offer our patients the option to receive care from another therapist within our office.

Do you have any doctors on staff?

Our office is not affiliated with any physicians or physician groups, nor do we employee any physicians.

Do you have aquatic therapy?

No. We do not have a pool for aquatic therapy.
